Louise George

As a qualified, BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor, my aim is to create a calm, confidential space to bring whatever feels important or relevant to your personal story.

My approach is client led meaning we will work collaboratively at your pace and build a therapeutic relationship where you can talk freely in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental setting.

Whatever your reason for coming to counselling, we can work together to help you explore and better understand your challenges, identify changes you want to make and how you might achieve these.

I work with adults and young people (18+) and have a special interest in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and stress.

Joss Albone

BSc Honours Degree in Psychotherapeutic Humanistic Counselling (MBACP)

I practise integrative, humanistic counselling, deeply rooted in the core values of the person-centred approach. My aim is to create an environment of non-judgement and acceptance, offering my clients a nurturing and empathetic space where they feel safe to explore their inner experiences and foster personal growth. I trust in my clients  innate capacity for self-understanding and growth, and I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are in your journey towards healing and self-actualization. I will work relationally with my clients, meaning I believe strongly in the importance of the client counsellor relationship, this can act as a mirror for what happens in the clients relationships outside of the therapy room.

In my approach, I see importance between the profound interplay of our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. I believe that our bodies serve as a vessel for our inner experiences, and being in tune ith our physical and emotional selves can lead to profound insights and healing. I will work with my clients to explore their bodily sensations, embrace the present moment and build an awareness of their thoughts, physicality and energy. I work with the breath and nervous system to harness calm and mindful awareness.
